Week 4

CREW 1 STARTED ON THE JUMP UP RELOCATION JUST SOUTH OF THE NANTAHALA OUTDOOR CENTER IN NORTH CAROLINA, WHILE CREW 2 HEADED OUT TO FINISH THE MAIN TOP RELOCATION NEAR SPY ROCK.


Some stats on the work accomplished by our two AWESOME crews this week:
  • Rock steps: 6

  • Rock cribbing: 14 cubic feet

  • Junk cribbing: 20 cubic feet

  • Log waterbars: 26

  • Log cribbing: 4 cribs, 35 feet

  • Sidehill finished: 930ft

  • Crush & fill: 28 cubic feet

  • Freshly painted blazes: 30
