Highlines are being used to transport most material (i.e. rock)

Drill holes on a piece of split granite (feathers and wedges are then inserted to split the rock)
Last week I was fortunate to travel up to New York with the Mid-Atlantic Trail Crew to work on the Bear Mountain Relocation project and thought I’d share a couple pictures from my trip. As you will notice, this project is very different from what you’ll see on Konnarock for several reasons.
